Sunday School classes and Creative Time - December 18
Here are photographs of our Sunday School classes and Creative Time. On this Sunday, study bibles were being presented to all the classes, and they were excited to open their 'pre-Christmas' gifts!

Service of Lessons and Carols - December 18
On December 18, we enjoyed a Service of Lessons and Carols – eight lessons telling the Christmas story, interspersed with carols and anthems. Three choirs (the Senior Choir, the 'Rock of All Ages' Choir and a Teen Choir) participated.

Christmas Craft Party - December 3
Each year we enjoy an afternoon of Christmas-related craft activities. All ages participate in making Christmas decorations, cards, banners and ornaments. There are glass balls, bead garlands, snowstorm bottles, suncatchers and cookies, and more...

Old Fashioned Church Supper - October 22
Every fall, this public dinner at the church provides a great opportunity for fellowship and outreach to the local community, and also serves as a major fund-raiser (a proportion of which supports our mission activities). The dinner involves many of the church members, who find it a most enjoyable and rewarding event.

Retirement Dinner - September 30
We held a most enjoyable dinner at the Daisy Flour Mill to honor Rev. Jim Hegley and celebrate his decade of ministry with us at the United Church of Pittsford. Gifts and tributes were presented to Jim and his family, and a good time was had by all (~80) participants.

Ivanka's Farewell - September 17
After ten years of extraordinary music, our beloved organist and pianist, Ivanka, is leaving UCP to concentrate on her teaching. We held a special supper at the church to recognize her great contribution to our congregation, and wish her good luck in her future career.

Rally Day - September 11
In addition to including a meaningful remembrance of 9-11, September 11 marked UCP Rally Day, the official start of our Sunday School year. Teachers were dedicated, and then we celebrated with bubbles and brownie sundaes.

Pastor Jim's last Sunday - August 28
Pastor Jim Hegley led his last worship service at the United Church of Pittsford before retiring. After the service, we held a luncheon to bid farewell to Jim and his family.

Breakfast and Service in the Park - July 24
Our annual opportunity to worship God in His great outdoors (King's Bend Park).

Cameron Community Ministries - July 10
Twice a year, a group of volunteers from UCP provide, prepare and serve dinner at the Cameron Community Ministries in downtown Rochester. Here are a few pictures of those who served on July 10th.

Redwings Game - June 17
56 people enjoyed the UCP group visit to the Rochester Redwings baseball game on June 17th. It was a beautiful evening, there was an impressive fireworks display after the game...and the Redwings won! What more could we ask?

Spaghetti Supper - April 9
This annual supper, mounted by UCP volunteers, is a major community outreach event for the church. It also serves as a fundraiser, and a proportion of the proceeds are devoted to our mission projects.

Planning Conference - April 2
This year we again held a morning Planning Conference to talk about the mission for our church, evaluate our progress and discuss how we should relate to a rapidly changing society.

Games Night - March 26
Games Night at the church was one of our monthly events for congregational fellowship and fun.

Annual Bowling Party - February 6
Our annual outing to the lanes was very successful, and everyone enjoyed not only the bowling, but the pizza and soda too!
